The Tourism Facilities Grants Programme provides funding to assist with the provision of physical facilities that cannot be made available on a commercial basis.
The principal objective of the programme is to enhance overseas visitors' understanding and enjoyment of New Zealand, through increasing the quality and number of nationally significant tourism facilities.
Grants are approved by the Minister of Tourism. Total available funding is determined each year by Budget appropriation ($300,000 in 2009/10).
Who is eligible to apply?
