New Zealand tourism is represented in two international forums.
New Zealand is a member of the Australian Standing Committee on Tourism (ASCOT). ASCOT aims to “improve coordination and cooperation of government policies and activities as they affect tourism”.
The Ministry of Tourism supports the Minister of Tourism at APEC Tourism Ministerial Meetings and contributes to the work of the APEC Tourism Working Group.
