The Ministry of Tourism works with a number of organisations within the tourism industry to effectively carry out its role.
Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) is a crown entity responsible for marketing New Zealand as an international visitor destination.
The wide variety of sectors that make up the tourism industry are represented by different industry associations.
There are 30 Regional Tourism Organisations in New Zealand, which are responsible for promoting their region to domestic and international visitors.
i-SITE is New Zealand's Official Visitor Information Network. Over 80 i-SITE stores are located nationwide, and provide visitors with comprehensive, up-to-date information, as well as booking services for activities, attractions, accommodation and transport.
