Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) is a crown entity responsible for marketing New Zealand as an international visitor destination. It owns the successful 100% Pure New Zealand brand, and works closely with national tourism bodies and offshore tourism distributors to carry out its marketing role.
As well as marketing New Zealand to the world, TNZ provides information to visitors, through the i-SITE network, and sets standards through the Qualmark quality assurance programme.
The Ministry of Tourism monitors and evaluates the performance of TNZ on behalf of the government.
