Business Growth ServiceNew Zealand Trade and Enterprise provide grants, from its Growth Services Fund to support high growth potential firms to purchase external advice and expertise, market intelligence and development services. Grants up to a maximum of 50% of the qualifying costs are available for individual or groups of firms to access new business opportunities, skills and expertise, innovation and new technologies and finance. The Fund is only accessible for companies that have a clear and significant growth potential and for whom a development plan has been compiled with an NZTE client manager. QualmarkQualmark is New Zealand tourism's official quality assurance agency. It operates a licensing system for tourism's official quality mark (the Qualmark®) and all tourism business in New Zealand are eligible to apply. Annual licence fees for Qualmark are based on the size of your business
and equate to less than $NZD40 or $NZD50 a month for small accommodation
and tourism businesses. Qualmark is able to assist the continual improvement process by providing, for example, templates for cleaning schedules, cancellation policies and operations manuals, and providing advice on liability waivers for adventure tourism operators. A Qualmark assessment is a great way to learn about the wider tourism industry and to improve your business based on best-practice.
