Interactive Traveller Review
During 2006, Cabinet instructed the Ministry of Tourism, in
consultation with Tourism New Zealand, to conduct a review of the
effectiveness of the Interactive Traveller Strategy in delivering yield
outcomes.
The Interactive Traveller Strategy was developed in 2002 to provide a
focus for Tourism New Zealand’s marketing activity within a limited
budget, whilst implementing particular goals of the New Zealand Tourism
Strategy at the time. The Interactive Traveller was defined as New
Zealand’s ideal global target market.
