The TRCNZ website is a free and valuable tool for New Zealand tourism statistics and research.
How do I subscribe to the Tourism Leading Indicators Monitor and weekly tourism statistics updates?A free subscription to the Tourism Leading Indicators Monitor is available from the TRCNZ website. The Tourism Leading Indicators Monitor tracks trends in the New Zealand tourism industry. The monitor is updated monthly and draws upon the core tourism sector data sources to identify significant changes and trends emerging from the latest tourism data, and also incorporates the latest data from the Tourism Satellite Account and forecasting programmes.
I am planning a trip to New Zealand. Where can I find information to plan my trip?The following link will take you to New Zealand’s official tourism information website: http://www.newzealand.com/travel/. This website is run by Tourism New Zealand, New Zealand tourism’s international marketing organisation, and acts as an ‘online brochure’.
How can I obtain promotional material such as brochures, maps and posters?The Ministry of Tourism is not resourced with promotional material. If you want information to help plan your visit to New Zealand, the following link to New Zealand’s official tourism information website will help: http://www.newzealand.com/travel/. If you require physical copies it is advisable to contact a regional tourism organisation (RTO) for any materials that they may be able to send to you. A list of RTOs and their contact details can be found by visiting Tourism New Zealand’s website. By clicking on a destination, you will find a link to the destination’s RTO to the left-hand side of the corresponding page.
Where can I find images of New Zealand?Tourism New Zealand’s Image Library. The Image Library stores many images of New Zealand that can be used for promoting New Zealand. It is important that you read through the Terms and Conditions of Use before registering to the Image Library.
Where can I find visa requirements (and other such) information?Information regarding Visitors’ Visas and permits can be found on the Immigration New Zealand website. | ||
